CBSO IGNITEUnder the direction of Chorus Director Simon Halsey, the renowned CBSO Choruses cater for all ages. This unique choral set up is regularly in demand across the globe, working with the CBSO and many other leading orchestras in concerts, recordings, radio and TV broadcasts.

CBSO Chorus
  CBSO Chorus is an auditioned SATB choir for singers aged 18 and over.
CBSO Youth Chorus
  CBSO Youth Chorus is an auditioned choir open to girls in school years 9 - 13.
CBSO Children's Chorus
  CBSO Children's Chorus is an auditioned choir open to boys and girls in school years 4 - 8.
CBSO Young Voices
with Birmingham Music Service
  CBSO Young Voices is an unauditioned community choir for mixed voices, from school year 7 – 13.

As part of Birmingham City Council’s Arts Champions scheme, the CBSO has launched a new community choir for residents of the Selly Oak Constituency. The choir is open to all residents of the Selly Oak, Bournville, Brandwood and Billesley wards aged 18 or over, and is led by the CBSO’s inspirational singing leader Matt Beckingham.
