What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. RSS solves a problem for people who regularly use the web. It allows you to easily stay informed by keeping you up to date with the latest information from the sites you are interested in, without having to take the trouble to visit them.
An RSS feed is usually made up of a number of titles and short summaries of full content on the website that produced the feed. This means you can quickly see whether there is anything new or interesting available and decide if you want to click through and visit the full version on the website.
RSS is rapidly growing in popularity and is becoming more popular because it makes keeping up to date with the sites you like quick and easy.
