Charitable Trusts and Foundations

If you are a trustee of or have links with a Charitable Trust or Foundation,  you could help the CBSO. With the donations received from Trust and Foundation supporters, we have been able to offer a wide range of artistic and educational activities to our audiences and the wider community.
 

How you can help:

A number of our Trust and Foundation funders provide invaluable general support, enabling the CBSO to direct these gifts to where they are needed most to maintain and develop our work.

Others provide funds to allow us to undertake innovative new projects. Current educational and outreach activities where your support would make a real difference include:

  • The running of the CBSO's very own Youth Orchestra for the Midlands;
  • A range of creative workshops with children with special needs, using innovative new technology;
  • Bringing live music and performers to many local areas of social disadvantage;
  • Taking part in a global celebration of Hans Christian Andersen's bi-centenary with local children;
  • Engaging local schools in learning about the history of and diverse cultures within Birmingham, through music, drama and dance.
