American soprano Renée Fleming is recognized worldwide for her compelling artistry, beautiful sound and interpretive talents. She has won many awards including two grammys and was named Female Artist of the Year at the Classical Brits Awards 2003. Praised by critics as 'an inspired scene painter, mood setter, storyteller, risk taker' she continues to perform with today's pre-eminent orchestras and conductors at distinguished venues all over the world. Renée Fleming's programme will feature popular arias by composers such as Strauss, Puccini and Mozart plus orchestral favourites from the CBSO.
