A song of love, death and delirious joy…there’s a lifetime of emotion in Mahler’s tremendous Fifth Symphony. Yet the superb young musicians of the CBSO Youth Orchestra will go straight to its deeply romantic heart; they never hold back, and under the inspirational direction of Andrew Litton, this should be one of the highlights of the season. First, though, they tackle Ravel’s sumptuous Piano Concerto, performed by a French star who can play it with one hand behind his back!
£20 all areas. Standard CBSO discounts apply.
