The UK’s greatest classical music show, Classical Spectacular® returns to The NIA, Birmingham, this December. Seen by over 100,000 fans in Birmingham alone, no other show presents such a superb combination of the very best in classical music choreographed with lasers, lights and fireworks that bring to life the scenes and moods evoked by each glorious piece.

The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra will be joined by the City of Birmingham Choir and The Band of the Welsh Guards to bring you such favourites as Copland: Fanfare For The Common Man, Sousa: Semper Fidelis March, Rossini: William Tell Overture, Verdi: Grand March from Aida, Handel: Zadok The Priest, Grieg: In The Hall Of The Mountain King, Puccini: O Soave Fanciulla, Verdi: Brindisi from La Traviata and Tchaikovsky: Swan Lake Finale.

Classical Spectacular appeals to all generations, as part of the ultimate night out celebrating the finest classical music, new music for 2011 include Delibes: Flower Duet from Lakme, Karl Jenkins: Benedictus from The Armed Man, Bizet: Habanera from Carmen, and the beautiful Saint-Saens: Dying Swan - performed by guest dancers from Birmingham Royal Ballet.

With a sensational programme of classic, after classic, after classic, no such concert would be complete without favourite Classical Spectacular hits Nessun Dorma, Rule Britannia! and Land of Hope and Glory, culminating in a thundering indoor firework finale, complete with muskets and cannons that provide a truly explosive climax to the evening with Tchaikovsky: 1812 Overture.
