Comprising young professional players, student and graduates from Birmingham University and Birmingham Conservatoire, the Apollo Sinfonia is a fresh and vibrant orchestral ensemble, which over the past two years has blazed a trail of stunning intimate concerts across Birmingham and the West Midlands.

In February 2010 Apollo Sinfonia will make its CBSO Centre debut with two masterpieces - Sibelius's powerful Second Symphony and Brahms outstanding concerto for violin and cello.
