A varied programme of works performed by four of Birmingham Conservatoire's leading students graduating in 2006. All performers have achieved outstanding results and are at a pivotal point in their professional careers.

Yuan Yuan Shen was born in China and studied at Shanghai Conservatory of Music before coming to Birmingham to take the Advanced Performance Degree. Di Xiao has performed as a soloist in venues including the Beijing Concert Hall and for audiences including the royal family of Malaysia. Alisa Liubarskaya began studying music in Belarus, going on to win the Czech Republic Beethoven Cello Competition. Wei-Chun Lin has been a major award winner in her native Taiwan before moving to the UK to study at the Royal College of Music and Birmingham Conservatoire.
