Chorus Manager
Overall Management of the CBSO busy Chorus department - managing the administration & music staff, and the schedules, rehearsals and performances of UK and foreign engagements for all five choirs
Managing budgets, negotiating engagements and fees with promoters, broadcasters and other arts organisations - agreeing external contracts with organisations in the UK and abroad (foreign tours)
Creating and developing future outreach singing programmes: I believe passionately in the importance of singing in the community, including the innovative ‘Sing Up' nationwide scheme in which the CBSO is playing a key part
