Beresford King-Smith
Archivist
Beresford King-Smith is the longest-serving member of the CBSO Staff, having started as Concert Manager in January 1964. Over the next 30 years he worked in a number of administrative roles, for both Orchestra and Chorus, before retiring from full-time work in 1993 in order to write the CBSO's official history, Crescendo! Since that time, he has been the CBSO's Honorary Archivist.
