Built in 1998 to complement the performance facilities at Symphony Hall, CBSO Centre is the home of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, its sister organisation Birmingham Contemporary Music Group and Ex Cathedra. Located in Birmingham city centre, the building is easily accessible from both Birmingham New Street and Birmingham Snow Hill stations as well as all major road networks.

Centre provides a range of performance, rehearsal
and meeting facilities, including a magnificent 300-seat
fully flexible auditorium. When not in use by the CBSO the main
hall is available for public concerts, conferences,
educational workshops, meetings, exhibitions,
dinner dances, weddings and much more.

The principal space is supported by a range of studios and meeting rooms suitable for rehearsals, board meetings, break-out sessions, coaching & workshops, sectionals and catering. Most rooms have full disabled access.
The
common room on the ground floor houses a fully licensed bar
which can be used for pre, post and interval receptions, corporate
hospitality, entertaining, exhibition space
or as a meeting point for groups.
Catering for any event is provided via a choice of recommended suppliers and ranges from canapés, breakfast or lunches to extensive banqueting menus.
